William LeBlanc Obituary

MILFORD - William J. LeBlanc, 85, of Milford died April 15 at his residence after a long illness. He was the husband of Rose H. (Vetovis) LeBlanc.
He was born in North Smithfield, RI; son of the late Edward & Blanche (Marceau) LeBlanc. He was raised & educated in Blackstone. He was first employed at the former Woonsocket Worsted and Woonsocket Falls. For many years he worked at Foster-Forbes Glass Co. in Milford from which he retired in 1992. He also worked for Exxon Mobil corporation painting signs. He was an avid bird watcher and a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church in Milford.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Lynn LeBlanc-MacNeil of Milford and Holly Anne DeVita of Winter Garden, FL, a brother Robert LeBlanc, a sister Beatrice Patrick, three grandchildren, Luke MacNeil, Jennifer and Marc DeVita, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by nine brothers, Edward, Albert, Normand, Romeo, Raymond, Arthur, George, Maurice and Richard LeBlanc and a sister Irene Coumoyer.
Following cremation a memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 10:am in St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 17 Winter St. Milford. Burial of cremains will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Blackstone. There are no calling hours.
Donations in his memory may be made to Mesothelioma House, 48 Francis St. Boston, MA, 02115.

My sincere sympathies to you and your family on Bill's passing Cookie. I remember Bill as a great employee at the Foster Forbes plant in Milford. I worked at the plant from 1973 until 1984 when I transferred to Wilson NC plant.
