Craig Isakson Obituary

Craig Isakson, age 67, of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away on October 7, 2025, at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, Illinois, surrounded by his loved ones. Craig was born on July 5, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gerald and Jean Isakson. He spent many years working as a pressman on a printing press before switching careers and becoming a truck driver, a career he excelled at for the past 18 years. Craig loved his family fiercely, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding his motorcycles, camping, vacationing, shooting his guns and relaxing by the pool. He was a hardworking and loving man who was always willing to help others in their time of need. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Isakson; daughter, Michele Luetke; and granddaughter, Katelyn Luetke. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Isakson; brother and sister-in-law, Casey and Natalie Isakson; and many extended family members and friends. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Isakson. A private service for close friends and family will be held at a later date. Craig will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but the love he gave us will remain forever in our hearts. Donations may be made in his name to your favorite animal or child-focused nonprofit - a reflection of his caring heart and his belief in helping others. Guest book at www.UngerHorner.com
