David W. Dewey

David William Dewey, 37, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born on April 20, 1988 in Beloit, WI, the son of David Lee Dewey and Katherine Stephens. David married Allysa Pollock on August 21, 2014. David was currently employed by GBR Corporation as a roofer. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and attending concerts. David loved reptiles, terrariums, and could often be found building fish tanks. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Allysa Dewey; sons, Christian Doty and Damien Dewey; mother, Katherine Stephens-Dewey; father, David L. Dewey; siblings, Michael (Joann) Stephens, Lori Stephens, Robert (Tammy) Stephens, and Holly Dewey; paternal grandmother, Violet White; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. David was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Janet Stephens; paternal grandparents, David R. and Lucy Dewey; uncle, William O. Stephens; niece, Emma Stephens; and nephew, Jamieson Stephens. A Visitation of Remembrance for David will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI.
