Gwen Richardt Obituary

Gwen M. Richardt, 91, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on February 15, 1934 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Meigs) Verley. Gwen was a Madison East High School graduate. She married James Richardt on November 15, 1968 in Belvidere, IL. He predeceased her on December 3, 2019. Gwen was formerly employed by the University of Wisconsin Hospital as a Lab Technician for 25 years until her retirement in 1973. After retirement, Gwen spent her time being an outstanding school bus driver for the Beloit School District. She was a member of the Women of Moose Chapter #0477 and the Elks Club of Janesville #254. Survivors include her children, David Luttrull of Butler, WI, Jeffrey (Deena) Luttrull of Clarksville, TN, Rick Richardt of Beloit, WI, and Gail Richardt of Milton, WI; 10 grandchildren; sister, Sharon Finan. Gwen was predeceased by her parents; son, Michael Luttrull; daughters, Kay Kettle and Peggy Richardt; granddaughter, Kayla; sisters, Virginia Casio and Shirley Mathison; brothers, Donald Verley, Myron Verley, and Ken Verley; sisters-in-law, Joyce Verley, Katie Verley, and Jane Carol Verley; brothers-in-law, Donn Mathison and Tony Casio. Per Gwen's wishes, no services will be held.
