Janice Marie Bartlett

Janice Marie Saunders Bartlett, 60, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Prairie View Manor in Footville, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 16, 1965 in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Robert and Patsy (Schoville) Saunders. Janice was a 1985 graduate of Valley High School, Las Vegas, NV. She married George Douglas Bartlett on April 29, 1995 in Henderson, NV. He predeceased her on January 7, 2023.

Janice was formerly employed by Wells Fargo Bank in Las Vegas, NV, until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed being outdoors, by the pool, and hiking out west. Janice was known for being crafty and her sewing skills, she proudly made all of her children's Halloween costumes for many years. She also enjoyed decorating and baking her children's birthday cakes.

Survivors include her daughters, Courtney (Geoff) Stewart and Hailey (fiancé, Helen Jaroch) Bartlett; grandchildren, Violet and Benjamin Goodman; siblings, Timothy Saunders, Donna Saunders, and Phyliss (Steve) Hodges; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Janice was predeceased by her parents; sister, Diana DeCarlo; niece, Kristin Saunders; nephew, Mitch Saunders; and step father, Cecil Shipler.

A Memorial Service for Janice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Andrew Hudson officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center – UW Madison.
