Joe Lee Obituary

Joe Willie Lee, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 22, 2025. He was born July 3, 1946 in Epps, Louisiana the son of John and Annie Lee. Joe Willie, lived in Rockford since 1963 coming from Chicago, IL. He was employed by Chrysler Corporation 32 years before retiring. Joe attended schools in Epps, Louisiana. Joe Willie, leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Latrice Adjia and Latoya Lee; two sons, Anthony (Melissa) Sago and Antonio (Tashonna) Sago; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Jean Lee, Carolyn Hoye, Deloris Glosson, Evelyn (Melvin) Holleman, Juanita Lee and Jeanette Lee; brothers, Jeff (Linda) Lee and Leon (Betty) Glossom, Anthony Accent Michael Lee; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, LaQuanta Williams; and his parents John and Annie; sisters, Diane and Betty Ann Lee. Services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, October 3, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
