Joseph Peiffer Obituary

Joseph N. "Joe" Peiffer, 70, Lake Summerset, IL died at 12:30 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his home after an eight year long battle with cancer and numerous other health issues. Born May 20, 1955, in Sigourney, IA, the son of Bernard M. and Irene F. (Scheetz) Peiffer. He graduated from Sigourney High School, Class of 1973. After Ingersoll closed six years after moving, he worked for Trenwyth in South Beloit, IL and retired from Corporate Contractors, Inc in Beloit, WI in 2021. Even though Joe moved away from the farm, farming never left his blood. In 2017, Joe and son, Mark purchased "The Shop".
