Kassandra Burns Obituary

Kassandra Lenette "Beno" Burns of E. Mesa Arizona departed this earthly life August 24, 2025. She was born February 17, 1971 in Rockford IL the daughter of Angela Burns and John Perry. Kassandra lived 21 years in Arizona coming from Rockford. She was employed as a Senior Eligibility Consultant by CVS Health 8 years. Kassandra was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Phoenix, serving in their singles ministry and with the mission group pantry. She graduated from West High School, Sioux City, IA; class of 1989 and graduated from Wayne State University in Wayne Nebraska; where she received her Bachelors degree in Psychology . Kassandra leaves to cherish many loving memories, her mother, Angela Burns; her aunts, Tracy A. (James) Rainey, and M. Carlotta Burns; uncles Anthony (Mary) Burns, Kenneth A. (Sharon) Burns and Darnell W. (Lesia) Burns; a host of cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Otha A. and Georgetta J. Burns. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
