Lynn Ann Hernandez

Lynn Ann Hernandez passed away at age 69, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness, surrounded by family in her childhood home. She was born in Beloit on November 16, 1955, graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1974, and was married at St. Paul Lutheran Church in 1975. An avid reader and grandma to all, Lynn was a beloved librarian at Fruzen Intermediate School for many years, as well as a skilled dance costume maker. She also loved learning about cultures, singing, listening to many different genres of music, gardening, crocheting and other crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, JoAnn (Worthing) and Vilas Adams. She is survived by her loving husband, Jesus Hernandez; daughters Melissa (Jeremy) Badger, Kristina Hirst, Rebecca (Miles) Hernandez; son Daniel Hernandez; sisters Dawn (Zeke) Meyers, Kerri (Bryan) Carroll; brother John (Kathy) Adams; granddaughters Chloe, Ryan, Avery; grandsons Hunter, Andrew, Max, Carson, Lucas, Phillip; great-granddaughter Renly; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She will be missed by the many lives she touched with her quick smile, gentle kindness, and generosity. There will be a small ceremony for family to honor her memory.
