Mark Hohmann Obituary

Mark Francis Hohmann, 62, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Platteville, Wisconsin. Born on January 11, 1963, in Dubuque, Iowa, Mark was the son of Merlin and Rosemary (Ennis) Hohmann. He grew up with a strong sense of family and carried that devotion throughout his life. Mark was known for his caring and loving nature. He was always willing to help others and was a strong and dependable presence for those around him. His hands were rarely idle, he had a passion for building and fixing things, always eager to take on a new project. Whether crafting intricate pieces of jewelry or spending peaceful hours fishing, he found joy in both creativity and the outdoors. Mark was a devoted husband to his wife of 30 years, Linda Hohmann. He took great pride in his family and cherished his role as a father to his son, Michael Hohmann, and stepdaughters Julie Noonan (Scott), Carissa Sanchez, and Marcie Buss (Tony). He also shared a close bond with his sister, Lora Hohmann Ernst, and brother, David Hohmann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Rosemary Hohmann. Mark's legacy is one of love, strength, and generosity. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
