Patricia A. Fleming

Patricia Ann "Pat" Fleming, 98, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Dimensions Living, Beloit, WI.

She was born on October 18, 1927 at the Methodist Hospital in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Maynard and Mildred (Schlegel) Brant. They soon after moved to Beloit. Pat attended Royce and Waterman Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High and graduated on the honor roll from Beloit High School Class of 1945. She married Richard L. Fleming on August 29, 1959 in Beloit. He predeceased her on July 26, 1996.

Pat was the President of the Baptist Youth Fellowship (BYF) of Wisconsin and continued affiliation with the Baptist Student House during the years at the University of Wisconsin. This was a time of very active youth in Beloit Churches and was a lifelong member of First Baptist. In 1953, she graduated with honors with a degree in Criminology-Correctional Administration.

Survivors include her niece and nephews, Michael Brant and family of Florida, Tracey Lee Brant of New Hampshire, and Gregory Newman of Iowa; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends, including her dear friend, Mary Borgwardt.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, "Corky" Maynard Brant Jr.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dimensions Living and Agrace Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
