Roger Longman

Roger Kelly Longman, age 80, of Avalon, WI, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Darien, WI on May 12, 1945, the son of Leo F. and Marian E. (Ullius) Longman. After graduating from Craig High School-Class of 1963, Roger became a Marine and served a tour in Vietnam. Roger married Linda M. Killoy on October 13, 1973 and they were blessed with a son, Shaun. Roger worked as a feed bulk truck driver for many years at Avalon Farmers Supply and Laders Tiffany Feed until his retirement. He loved playing cards, putting together difficult puzzles and watching all kinds of sports. Roger is survived by his son, Shaun (Stephanie) Longman; grandchildren Tru, A.J. and Mikyah Longman, sisters, Barb Clark and Deb (Randy) Helgeson; in-laws, Daniel (Colleen) Killoy and Lorraine (Mr. Jan Ratajczak) Killoy and many extended family members and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Leo "Kelly" and Marian Longman; in-laws Bob and Mary Killoy; and sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Don Waller. The family would like to thank Mercy Health System staff and Rock Haven staff for all of the great care he received. A Visitation of Remembrance for Roger will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road Beloit, WI, followed by a Graveside service at Emerald Grove Cemetery.
