Rosemary Myhre

With deep sorrow and much love, we sadly announce the passing of our mother Rosemary Myhre who peacefully left this world on August 25, 2025 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her family as she passed on to be with all her loved ones waiting for her in her next and final resting place. She was born on February 22, 1937 in East Chicago, IN the daughter of James and Helen (Emerson) Gharrity. Rosemary was a 1955 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. She married Robert Myhre on June 22, 1963. He predeceased her on May 23, 2020. Rosemary was a waitress at many supper clubs in her younger years and loved to spend time with her friends and family. She loved to play all kinds of games and had a wickedly funny sense of humor with her family. Rosemary had many friends and her social life was always full of laughter and fun. She and her husband Bob were always busy and always laughing. One of her biggest joys was antiquing. They scoured antique stores and estate sales across the state and added to their diverse collection. Right up to the end she would still hustle down a driveway with anticipation for a garage sale. She was such a loving presence in all of her daughters and grandchildren's lives and will be sadly missed. Survivors include her daughters, Shannon (Jose) Alatorre, Sally (Tony) Brizzolara, Shelley (Michael) Yancey, Holly (Robert) Charlier, and Jody; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Norman (Kathryn) Gharrity; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosemary was predeceased by her parents and son, Jimmy Joe. A Funeral Service for Rosemary will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Rev. Gene VanGalder officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials in her name may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
