Theresa Farage

Theresa Farage, 67, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on February 10, 1958 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Houston and Elizabeth (Grigsby) Caughorn. Theresa married Steven Farage on August 6, 1976 in Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on October 24, 2012. Theresa was formerly employed by Pates Food until her retirement in 2013. After retirement, she worked for Taylor Freeze, Swiss Colony, Amway, and CSCO Cleaning. Theresa loved going shopping, frequenting rummage sales and thrift stores. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Stephenie (Thomas) Monroe, Shawna Farage, and Tammie (Joseph) Calhoun all of Beloit, WI; step daughter, Brandie Farage; grandchildren, Zachariah, David, Hannah, Colton, Kyle, Courtny, Carlos, Kimberly, Haile, Joseph Jr., and Astrid; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances Culver of Madison and Crystal Majerus of Beloit, WI; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Theresa was predeceased by her parents; grandsons, Jacob and Antonio; and brother, Ray Caughron. The family would like to give a special thank you to Autumn Lake staff for their care and compassion they gave to Theresa. A Memorial Service for Theresa will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Dave Fogderud officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
