Barbara Kay Wells

Barbara "Barb" Kay Wells, 81, of Terre Haute, was promoted to heaven on October 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Barb was born April 22, 1944, to Virgil and Nellie Fox in Farmersburg, Indiana. Barb is preced in death by her parents, Son James Wells Jr, infant daughter Kimberly Wells, Granddaughter Allyson Heubel, and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include Son's Larry (Tandra) Wells, David Sr. (Heather) Wells, daughter Brenda (David) Heubel, and daughter-in-law Liza. Grandkids: David Jr. (Brandy) Wells, Joshua Wells, Hannah Wells, Dustin Wells, John Wells, Francis Heubel, Duncan Heubel, and Neil Heubel. Great grandsons Braylen Wells, Josiah Cronkhite, and Malachi Cronkite. Barb retired after many years from Columbia House, where she met many people, especially Glenda Shake, Priscilla Driggers, Juanita Mullins, and the rest of "The Over The Hill Club," and she always looked forward to having lunch with them once a month. Barb was a member of New Life Community Church, where she belonged to The Elderberries, and Barb was baptized on September 8, 2019. Barb enjoyed First Sunday, where she got to go out for lunch with her church family. Barb was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother, and her life revolved around her kids and Grandkids. Barb loved her Cubbies and Elvis and was able to visit Graceland. Barb will forever be remembered by her infectious laugh and her smile. Services for Barb will be held at DeBaun Funeral Home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with Pastor Paul Carey officiating. Visitation is scheduled at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm with service at 2:00 pm.
