Betsy Pearman Obituary

Betsy Pearman, 63, of Newport, passed away on Monday July 21, 2025, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on August 17, 1961, to Harold McMillan and Barbara McMillan Miller who precede Betsy in death. Also preceding her are her husband Samuel Pearman, brother-in-law Mil Blacketer and sister-in-law Diane McMillan. Betsy's favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family and friends whether it was cooking out or watching a football game, especially if it was an Indianapolis Colts game. She loved sports and music. Betsy's kids, nieces and nephews will always remember her for her great cooking skills. Those left behind to remember Betsy are her daughters Kayla Gersch (Ricky Livingston), and Taylor (Stephen) Mielke; son Jaycee (Cierra) Shoemaker; brothers Jim McMillan and Howie (Bridget) McMillan; sisters Judy Blacketer and Mary Gilbert; grandchildren Bryson, Ariyah, Kihanna, Rihanna, Leni, Nora, and Kennedy and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring Betsy's wishes cremation was chosen. There will be a celebration of life at the Montezuma Community Center on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 12:00p.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com. Betsy was a sweet friend of mine in elementary school in Kingman, IN. I never forgot that cute smile! So sorry for her family's loss.
