Betty Killebrew Obituary

Betty Louise Killebrew, 80, of Clinton passed away on Friday August 1, 2025, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on April 2, 1945, to William and Ruth (Prulhiere) Payton who precede Betty in death. Also preceding are her brother Harold Payton, sister Ruth Alden and 2 grandchildren. Betty was a bookkeeper at The Daily Clintonian for over 30 years, and she was a member of the Fairview Park Church of Christ. Betty enjoyed reading, writing and being creative. Surviving is her husband Robert Killebrew of Clinton, sons James M. Muciarelli II (Margee) of Brownsburg, David P. Killebrew of Clinton, and Rob W. Killebrew (Summer) of Sellersburg, brother Gary Payton (Vanessa) of Clinton, sister Jane Kelley of Clinton, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Wednesday August 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Service at 12:00 p.m. with Steve Reinoehl officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Clinton Public Library in memory of Betty. Online condolences may be shared at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
