I have so many memories dont know where to start. I´m going back to the 1970s when Betty & I palled around together. Betty & I did so many things together, went everywhere, met everybody it seems in TERRE Haute and surrounding areas. Betty and I was so close, that when I joined the Army National Guard in 1980 , her and my mom drove clear down to Fort Jackson South Carolina for my graduation from my basic training, I had no idea they was coming , wow what a great surprise too see her and my mom at my graduation, but that was Betty she loved my my mom & me , she was like a sister to me and I love her very much , when I was married and living in Texas my husband was stationed at Fort Hood , I was then transferred to TX. National Guard . I ended up losing contact with Betty but never for got her, I ran into her and her sister Mary once at Deming park in the ladies restroom of all places , we was both attending family reunions, what a sight for sore eyes . I have in the last few months been trying to find Betty I wanted to see her so badly. I know now where she is , in heaven with our Lord & Savior, I will have to wait now to see Betty until the Lord calls me home as well, my mom and husband were two of the people that was there to greet my dear beloved friend , my heart is broken, but I´ll be with her forever in heaven, with so much love to her and family , my forever friend , I love you Betty , this is from Debbie ( McCullough ) Matherly God be with you , and us all that has lost our time with Betty for now. Love & Hugs always to Yo Yo !
