Catherine J. "Stillwell" Bailey

Catherine J (Stilwell) Bailey of Terre Haute, IN passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 at the age of 93. She was born on December 27, 1932 to Daniel Webster Stilwell and Ruth (Neal) Stilwell in Terre Haute, IN. She attended Wiley High School, where she was a majorette. Cathy, as she was known to friends and family, worked in the meat department at Great Scott Supermarket in Terre Haute, IN for more than 30 years. She was frequently involved in activities at the Senior Center which included painting and other arts & crafts classes. She enjoyed country line dancing, sewing, cooking, and learning & playing an assortment of musical instruments. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Bailey; son, Robert Daniel Bailey, and daughter, Rebekah (Bailey) Reynolds. She is survived by daughter Barbara (Bailey) Zupan and her husband Dennis, son-in-law Michael Reynolds, and daughter-in-law Diana (Gardener) Bailey, seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

There will be no service, however, her ashes will be scattered at a later date and location, yet to be determined.
