Cecil Mann Obituary

Cecil Irvin Mann, 84, of Terre Haute, Indiana went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born on March 19, 1941 to Paul M. and Cora I. (Clark) Mann in Paducah, Kentucky. After working for the Indiana State Highway for 28 years, Cecil retired. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and lawn care. Cecil loved the Lord and read his Bible daily. Cecil is survived by his daughters, Beverly Swain (Bob) of Katy, Texas and Cheryl Cottrell (Mike) of Rosedale, Indiana; the mother of his children, Misty Murrey of Terre Haute, Indiana; siblings Charles Mann of South Carolina, and Jeannette Wagoner of Illinois; grandchildren Natasha Kent (Bryant) of Miramar, Florida, Dana Hutsell (Christian) of Rockville, Indiana, and Sean Cottrell of Rosedale, Indiana; and five great-grandchildren. Cecil is preceded in death by both of his parents; brothers Kenneth Mann of Indiana, Paul Mann, Jr. of Indiana, James Mann of Indiana, and Jack Mann of Arkansas; sisters Clora Bowling of Illinois, Mary Hirst of Indiana, and Pauline Rodgers of Illinois. Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Per Cecil's wishes, no services are being held.
