David Earle Obituary

David DeWayne Earle, Jr., age 40, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with a longtime illness. He was born at Fort McClellan in Anniston, Alabama, on March 4, 1985, the son of David DeWayne Sr. and Nicole Earle. David was a 2003 graduate of Shakamak High School and worked for several years as an automotive technician. While in high school, he met Jessica, the love of his life. They married and went on to share 14 years of marriage. David was a devoted husband and doting father, whose proudest role in life was being "Daddy" to his two daughters, Anna and Amelia, who were his entire world. He loved sharing everyday moments with his girls-whether tinkering in the garage, playing video games, spending time outdoors, and taking family vacations. They made countless memories together, always filled with love and laughter. A lifelong Alabama football fan, David rarely missed a game and proudly cheered on the Crimson Tide. Above all else, David was a true family man. Throughout his illness, he and his family grew closer than ever, forming an unbreakable bond through their shared journey. The love and strength they carried together remain a lasting testament to his life and spirit. David is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Earle of Worthington; his daughters, Anna Rose Earle and Amelia Kate Earle; his parents, David Sr. and Nicole Earle; his sister, Heather Earle; and his in-laws, Ken and Lorie Conolty. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, brother & sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William and Delana Earle; maternal grandparents Otto and Anna Schacherl; and two aunts Patricia and Susan. Private services will be observed by David's family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington. David's life was defined by love, resilience, and devotion to his family. Though his time on earth was far too short, the closeness he inspired will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
