Edward White Obituary

Edward Ernest White, 72, of Paris, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1953 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Howard and Mary (Fuqua) White. On March 19, 1973, he married the love of his life, Karen. In his free time, he enjoyed being in the outdoors. He loved hunting, camping, hiking, gardening, and any type of outdoor sport. Edward also loved to travel and any type of building project he could get his hands on. He was a fantastic storyteller. One of Edward's best qualities was his great Faith – he could be found reading his Bible daily. His devotion to his family and friends was above and beyond. Edward also loved being a strong mentor to young people. His wife Karen says of him, "He was my world". Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; sister Ronda (Ted) and their children, Megan Michael, and Mark; sister-in-law Renee (Myles) and their children, Amy, Holly, and Ryan; sister-in-law Lisa and her children, Eric and Evan; and nephews and niece, Matthew, Ron, and Alisha. Edward is preceded in death by both of his parents; brother William; and brother-in-law Marc. Cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home. Ed and I met in the second grade. We've been friends ever since. He was a friend I could always count on and was always there for me. We were the best of friends hunting and camping our whole lives. To say he will be missed is a tremendous under statement. He made everyone he was around , their life just a little better. I will miss you my good friend.

I have known Ed White for many years. He and my cousin Karen were childhood friends before they were sweethearts and later man and wife. They were a couple meant for each other with a great deal in common. They loved the outdoors, animals and nature. RIP dear Ed. You will be missed.
