Linda Rollman Obituary

Linda Marie Rollman, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, peacefully at her daughter's home in Spencer, Indiana, surrounded by those she loved most. Born in Pittsburg, Kansas, to James "Tim" Colglazier and Sarah K. (Neary) Porter, Linda's generosity, kindness, opinion and devotion touched everyone who knew her. Linda was a proud member of the 1964 class of the old Bedford High School. She dedicated 33 years of her professional life as an assembler at RCA in Bloomington, where she built not only electronics but lifelong friendships. Her journey continued at Ford Visteon for approximately 11 more years. With retirement knocking on her doorstep, she wasn't ready to give in and decided to attend college at Ivy Tech, and with the occasional assistance of her granddaughter and hard work, Linda proudly graduated with honors, earning her associate degree in business. She took a couple years and retired, but boredom set in. She decided to re-enter the workforce and spent her final working 3 years working at Cook Medical in Bloomington. Beyond her career, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life: shopping, relaxing with a good movie on the Hallmark Channel, and sharing quiet moments with her faithful dog, Roxie. Above all, she cherished her family. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie J. (Jack) Frye; her son, Darin Scott "Butch" Rollman; her four granddaughters, Brittainy (John), Sarah (Dan), Stephanie (Dakota), and Paige (Drew); and her two precious great-granddaughters, Aubree and Iliza, were her greatest treasures. Linda will also be fondly remembered by her sister, Kasie (David) Templeton; step-sister, Jackie Brown; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend/caregiver, Teresa Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband, Buddy Dee Rollman. A graveside service to honor Linda's life will be held at Cresthaven Cemetery in Bedford at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Arrangements are entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer, Indiana In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the White River Humane Society in Bedford or plant a tree through the U.S. Forrest Service. The family asks that you share your favorite memories of Linda online at www.westparrishpedigo.com, where condolences and stories of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
