Lyla Stemrich Obituary

Lyla Jo Stemrich, 6 weeks old, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was born to Aaron Stemrich and Madison Nees on July 20, 2025. Lyla was known as her parents "Little Monkey" and brought joy to everyone who met her. Lyla is survived by both of her parents; brothers Easton Stemrich and Atlas Stemrich; aunt Charleigh Stemrich; Uncle Jesse Stemrich; paternal grandfather Scott Stemrich; paternal grandmother Samantha Stemrich; maternal grandfather John Nees; maternal grandmother Shannon Nees; paternal great-grandparents Daniel and Charlotte Boling; paternal great-grandmother Karyn Stemrich; and numerous cousins. Lyla is preceded in death by paternal great-grandparent Paul Stemrich; and maternal great-grandparents Robert and Connie Farrell. Visitation will take place at Samaritan Funeral Home located at 2425 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Services to follow beginning at 1:00pm.
