Robert Eugene "Bob" Patton

KINGMAN – Robert "Bob" Eugene Patton, 73, of Kingman, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at his family residence in Bloomingdale. He was born May 26, 1952, in Clinton, Indiana, to the late Edgar Patton and Geneva Vale Patton. Bob was an auctioneer and a mechanic. Survivors include two sons, Randy Michael (Jennifer) Patton of Rockville and Robert Matthew (Sally) Patton of Bogard, Missouri; two daughters, Robin Michele Wittenmyer of Bloomingdale and Rayanne Micole Patton of Bloomingdale; nine grandchildren, Garret and Kali Wittenmyer, Michael Patton, Christopher Patton, Emylia Patton, Shelby Patton, Austin Patton, Devin Patton, Katelin Patton, and Orion Carman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Patton; and four sisters, Shirley Newnum, Nancy Miller, Pat Bush, and Kathy Wade. Bob was a 1970 graduate of Turkey Run High School and a volunteer firefighter with the Bloomingdale Fire Department. Known for his warm smile and easygoing nature, he was a friend to many and never met a person who stayed a stranger for long. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 West Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Steve Crum officiating.
