MONTEZUMA – Rosalie Ann Garrard, 85, of Montezuma, Indiana passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born October 2, 1940, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Michael Utenick and Anna Kovach Utenick. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Donald Jean Garrard, whom she married August 20, 1960, in Terre Haute, Indiana; one daughter, Lesa (Rob) Williamson of Noblesville; one son, Timothy Jean (Shelly) Garrard of St. John, Indiana; one brother Michael (Mary Ann) Utenick of Longmont, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Corey, Alesha, and Hannah; and two great-grandchildren, Colt and Laikynn. She was a 1958 graduate of Garfield High School in Terre Haute and earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University. She was a business owner and lab technician. Rosalie was a longtime member of Linebarger Chapel where she faithfully played the piano for over 50 years. She loved landscaping and caring for her flowers, and she treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Steve Blaydes Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Gooch Funeral Home.
