Susie M. June

Susie Mae (Lovett) June, 72, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Towne Park Skilled Nursing Home Center. Susie was born in Brazil, Indiana on May 25, 1953 to George Henry Lovett and Reba Elizabeth (Myers) Lovett. She attended Ashboro Elementary, Clay City High School and then graduated from Owen Vally High School in 1971. Susie was a waitress at Chambers Restaurant where she had worked for over 50 years. She loved spending time with grandkids, going to ballgames and going to demo derbies. Susie is survived by her daughter, April Mae (William) Wilson, grandchildren, Shelbey (Dylan) Perry, Trenton Duke, Carsten Wilson, Jadyson Wilson, Brylynn Wilson, great-grandchildren, Huntleigh, Colson, Dominick, step-children, Paula Fulford, Terry June, Carla (Randy) Wilson, Robin (Gary) Mitchell, Nancy (Ed) Burdine, sister-in-law, Beverly (Dallas) Navolt, sibilngs, Bill (Linda) Lovett, several "adopted" children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl A. June, whom she married on July 5, 1980, siblings, James Lovett, Harold Lovett, brother-in-laws, Gary June, Billy June, and sister-in-law, and Sue Lovett. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2025 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana 47460. Mark Villanova will officiate. Burial will follow at McCullough Zion Gummere Cemetery on Zion Church Road in Clay County. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2025 and again 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday, all at the funeral home.
