Jane Tutor Obituary

Esther Jane Tutor, 76, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2025. Jane was born on May 6, 1948, in Pontotoc County, MS to Laton Alvin Tutor and Mary Louise Stewart Tutor. The rain last night gave her family a sense that her parents and siblings were celebrating her arrival in heaven. The family hopes you remember Jane's deep love for the Lord and her dedication as His servant. Jane is survived by her three children, Tim and Amy Ball, Pam and David Jennings, and Jeff Whitten; her sister, June Rankin (Joe); and a special mention to Randy and Lesley, who held a dear place in Jane's heart. Her strength, love, and wisdom will continue to inspire them in all they do. She was preceded in death by one precious little boy, Dustin W. Ball. If you called her Granny, know that you were all her favorite, and her love for you was pure and unwavering. She was so proud of each of you. If you called her GG, know that you all brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. If you called her aunt, cousin, or friend, know that her love and loyalty were genuine and heartfelt, and she cherished you deeply. Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. A private service was held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Harmony Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Jerry Caples. Pallbearers included Tim Ball, Jeff Whitten, Jacob Ball, Ryan Yarbrough, Chris Herring, and Josh Akers.
