Margaret Tackitt Obituary

Margaret Tackitt, 91, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House-Tupelo. She cherished her family, her church family, and her Lord and Savior. Her favorite moments were singing and playing the guitar as she praised Jesus Christ with all her heart. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Clyde W. "Buddy" Tackitt, her 3 sons, Clyde Tackitt, Jr. (Kathy), Sam Tackitt (Teresa), and Steve Tackitt (Kay), grandchildren, Tracy (Brian), Robin, and Joey (Alison), greatgrandchildren, Hayes (Ashleigh), Sadie, Brooks, Carley, and Eli, and her siblings, Joyce Bain and Lannie Forman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Etta Forman, brothers, Frank, Johnny, and Neal, and her sister, Katie Todd. Services will be Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11AM at County Line Baptist Church with Bro. Andrew Mauney, Bro. Wayne Cobb, and Bro. Donnie Finley officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-8PM at the church and Tuesday 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Steve Forman, Billy Tackett, Joey, Clyde, Jr., Sam, and Steve. Honorary pallbearer will be Brooks.
