Mark Broadway Obituary
PONTOTOC - Mark Steven Broadway age 66 went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, September 2nd, 2025, at his home in Pontotoc. Born on July 9, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, Mark was the beloved son of Earl "Buddy" Broadway and Geraldine "Gerry" Broadway, whom he cherished deeply. He attended Horn Lake High School, where he created countless memories playing football and sharing adventures with friends. Mark spent much of his career installing satellite TV, traveling across the country and taking on various jobs. Up until his death, he worked alongside his former brothers in law installing storm shelters, where he was appreciated for his hard work, punctuality, and dependability. An avid outdoorsman, Mark loved fishing, deer hunting, and embracing any adventure that came his way. He was also renowned for award-winning barbecue. He lived with a carefree, spirited attitude, focusing on the present rather than worrying about the future. In recent years, Mark enjoyed playing with his grandkids and tinkering with his skid steer. His jolly fun-loving demeanor, endless pranks, willingness to lend a helping hand, and various predicaments he always found himself in, are going to be sorely missed by everyone. He almost quite literally lived the way he died, with his boots on.
Mark is survived by his sons, Kyle Steven Broadway (Brennan), Conner Lee Broadway (Cammy), and Joseph Kyle Cieskiewicz; his daughters, Keagin Elaine Waugh (Jeremiah) and Amanda Noelle Kovarik (Dan); his sister, Brenda Foster; and his brother-in-law, Doug Stowers. He was a proud grandfather to Liam Knox Kovarik, Elijah Jude Kovarik, Ledger Thomas Waugh, and Malonne Elaine Waugh, and a devoted uncle to Scott Foster, Susan Fowlkes, Johnathan Pope, Adam Pope, Curt Harmon, John Harmon, Michael-Scott Foster, and Preston Foster. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl "Buddy" and Geraldine "Gerry" Broadway; his sister, Carol Stowers; and his brother-in-law, Larry Foster.
Services will be held at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2PM with Bro. Rob Garland officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Moore, Randy Baker, John Harmon, Curt Harmon, Michael Scott Foster, Ron Bost, Perry Bost, Mike Biffle, Tim Byars, and Gabriel Galvan.
