Robert Wigington

Robert Waymon Wigington, age 87, of Ellistown Community passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 7, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1938 to Frank and Ada Grubbs Wigington. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years and 11 months, Mary Ann Pannell Wigington. He was the cherished father of Teresa (Herb) Chenault of Olive Branch and Scotty (Amy) Wigington of Ellistown. He was the treasured grandfather "Papaw" of Brittany (Curt) Greenhill of Baldwyn, Brandi (Tim) Jones of Tupelo, Hudson (Rebecca) Chenault of Southaven and the late Waymon Chenault of Southaven. He was also the loving Papaw to 7 great grandchildren, Chloe Greenhill, Bentley Greenhill, Cain Ledford, Cooper Jones, Ellie Jones, Wren Chenault and Murphy Chenault. He was a retired tool & die maker with Krueger International for 40 years. He was a member of Ellistown Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and his grandson, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles F. Wigington. A visitation will be at Ellistown Baptist Church on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 3:00 p.m. Bro. Mike Powell will officiate.
