Stephen Keele Obituary

It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of a dear son, brother, father, and uncle, Stephen Langdon Keele. Stephen was born on March 4, 1980, to Jimmy Keele and Helen McGaughy Bryant and passed away on July 5, 2025. Stephen was well known for his fierce loyalty, protective nature, and dry sense of humor. He was an avid hunter, map expert, barbeque master, and history buff. Stephen loved his family and friends dearly and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Stephen is survived by his parents, Helen and Rick Bryant and Jimmy Keele; his daughter, Taylor Keele; his sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Michael Boothe; niece, Madalyn Carpenter; his girlfriend, Monica Byars; three aunts, Evelyn White, Dot Worley, and Elaine Mathews; one uncle, Dennis Worley; and cousins, Jeffrey, Stephanie, and Henry White, Allison Worley and Bradley Hooper, Michael, Meka, Lizzy, Landon, and Levi Mathews, Kristopher, AnnaBeth, Wesson, Kolesen, and Cayden Mathews. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Booneville Funeral Home. A memorial service will held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial service will be held at the graveside for family and close friends at Snowdown Church of Christ in Cairo, MS, at a later time. Booneville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I knew Stephen thru Monica and I could see he was a very responsible and loving Father to Taylor, a loving significant other to Monica; he will be missed.
