Thomas White Obituary
Thomas Sawyer White, age 25, departed this life unexpectedly on Friday morning, October 3, 2025, in Tippah County, following an automobile accident.
A memorial service remembering the full and vibrant life of our beloved Thomas is tentatively scheduled for next week, with details to be announced. Ripley Funeral Home is honored to assist the family during this time.
Born on August 14, 2000, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Thomas was the cherished son of Jackie Williams White and Tommy White. From the very beginning, Thomas was full of energy and spirit. A "wild child" at heart, he grew up racing through the house, Spiderman action figures in hand, and always ready for the next adventure. He received his education from East Union High School and later worked with Jackson Furniture and other local industries.
Thomas lived life with a contagious spark, always on the go, and determined to squeeze joy out of every day. Whether sitting on the pond bank fishing, keeping up with Alabama football, or sharing his artistic gift by giving tattoos, he carried with him a sense of freedom and individuality. He was the kind of friend who could make anyone laugh with his quick wit, humorous humor, and sarcastic remarks. To know Thomas was to know laughter, light, and love.
His greatest joy, however, was not found in hobbies or adventures but in the people who filled his life. He was a proud son, a wonderful brother, a true and loyal friend, and most importantly, a loving father. His children were his heart, and the love he carried for them was beyond measure.
Though Thomas faced challenges from this world, those struggles never defined the love he gave or the love he received. He was still deeply cherished by his family and countless friends, each of whom saw the goodness in his heart. We find peace in knowing that Heaven has welcomed him home and that he is now reunited with his precious little boy, Kyson-together forever in the arms of God. And while our hearts ache from the weight of this loss, we cling to the promise that their laughter, their love, and their bond are eternal.
We find comfort in the scripture, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." - Matthew 5:4 . So while our days feel emptier without him, Thomas' light will never fade. It will live on in every memory, in every story shared, and in the love he left behind.
Thomas's memory will continue to live on through his mother, Jackie White, his father, Tommy White (Christy), one daughter, Callie White, four sisters, Autumn Bryant (Cory), Isabella Willow White, Elizabeth Liberty White, and Taylor Oliver (Austin Hutchins), three brothers, T. J. White, Zachary White, and Cody Pilcher, his girlfriend, Mandy Sullivan, grandparents, Doris Chism, and Karen Nanny, three nieces, and two nephews, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and a wide circle of friends.
While holding his little boy, Kyson, Thomas is also surrounded in heaven by a brother, Jeremy Oliver, and his grandparents, Jerry and Margie White, and Terry Williams.
Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories with Thomas's family.
