Tuere McGaughy

Tupelo - Tuere Bluitt-McGaughy, age 49, of Tupelo, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1976, to Charles Bluitt and Mae Warlick, who both survive her. Tuere was a vibrant, loving soul who touched countless lives with her big heart, infectious energy, and joyful spirit. She graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a bachelor's degree in social work. Tuere was proud of her career in Quality Control at Toyota Boshoku, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and most of all-being surrounded by the people she loved. Tuere's outgoing personality, big imagination, and deep love for others made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her. A Service remembering Tuere's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 3:00 pm from the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Porter's Memorial Park. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Cherishty DePriest; her devoted son, DePaul McGaughy; and her cherished grandson, Makari Fair. Tuere is also survived by her parents, Charles Bluitt and Mae Warlick; and her brothers, Charles Bluitt and Ankeed Bluitt. Tuere will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.
