Virginia Dunaway Obituary

Virginia Laine "Ginger" Parham Dunaway Saltillo- Virginia Laine "Ginger" Parham Dunaway, passed away at the NMMC on Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was born, on September 05, 1949 to Allan and Sue Morris Parham and she married, Rocky Dunaway on May 23, 1992. Ginger was a master gardener, and enjoyed reading, taking care of her yard and flowers. She loved spending time with her dogs and especially her grandchildren. She graduated from Memphis State and Ole Miss and she was a retired paralegal. She was a Baptist. Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Saltillo Methodist Church with Bro. John Foster officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo City Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Rocky Dunaway; daughter, Paige Vandygriff (Shaun McVey); daughter, April Hopkins (Chuck); son, Jacob Dunaway; (5) grandkids, Hailey Parker (Eli), EJ Jones, Vaught Vandygriff, Ginny Vandygriff and June Dunaway; (2) great-grandkids, Liam and Willa Jane; host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Tracy Dunaway, Adam Dunaway, Brian Yarbrough, EJ Jones, Shaun McVey, Eli Parker, Eric Jones and Kenny Gann. Visitation will be Sunday at Saltillo Methodist Church from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family @www.watersfuneralservice.com
