AGNES B. LILLY

1925 - 2020

AGNES B. LILLY, 94, of Scott Depot, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Teays Valley Center. She will be sadly missed by many friends and family members.
She was born April 19, 1925, in Putnam County. She graduated from Hurricane High School in 1943. Agnes worked at the South Charleston Ordinance Center throughout World War II and then went on to work for Union Carbide, until her retirement.
She enjoyed traveling and spent several years in Florida during the winter time. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Scott Depot, WV, where she had many friends and loved ones.
Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vic Lilly in 2004, as well as by her parents, Lloyd and Elfie (Edwards) Buzzard; brothers, Carlton and Jackie Buzzard; nephew, Mike Buzzard; sister-in-law, Charlene Buzzard; and step-son, Roger Lilly.
She is survived by brother, Danny Buzzard of Winfield; sister-in-law, Anna Buzzard of Hurricane; and nieces: Lora (Gilbert) Romero of Tucson, AZ, Sandra (Dan) Stewart of Indianapolis, IN, Patty (Rick) Hayes of Tucson, AZ, Traci Buzzard of Hurricane, WV, Teresa (Steve) Stire of Morgantown, WV, Sara (Chris) Buzzard of Nitro, WV, and Danelle (Craig) Buzzard of New Albany, IN; step-daughters, Rhoda Lilly Mosaffa, Sarah Lilly Swilley, and Lois Lilly Butti, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the lower mausoleum chapel at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, WV, on Monday, December 30, at 2 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
