I worked with Alex at both Verizon and Frontier. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Alex. I will always carry the memory of his remarkable kindness and his wonderfully calm and steady demeanor. Whenever you spent time with Alex, he always had a life story for every occasion, each one delivered with wit and warmth. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen and engaged. His stories and his gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew them.

Alex was truly one of a kind. One fond memory I had of him was during Sadie Hawkins day festivities at Gilmore Elementary. I caught poor Alex and he was forced to be my husband for the day. He was such a good sport about it! But anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Alex knows he was a special person who loved everything about life! Paula, you are in our hearts and prayers. Along with Eric and Troy. May God give you all great comfort during this time!

I am so sorry to hear of Alex passing. Paula, you and Alex were great together. Fun watching you and he blossom in the early years. We had some amazing times back in the day especially during our crazy NC fests. I pray for you and your family to find comfort in your wonderful memories. My sincerest condolences.

It's been a while but I was a co-worker of Alex back at Verizon. I remember always a steady, friendly presence in what seemed at the time a chaotic place. We could count on him for constant calm and a good story about something that would always make things better. I'm saddened by his passing but will remember him fondly. My condolences to the family.
