Barbara Brown Obituary
BARBARA S. BROWN, 89, of Glasgow, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles 'Dickie' Brown; parents, Lon and Edith Wade Sizemore; brother, Lon Sizemore Jr.
She retired after 30 years' service at Belle DuPont Plant. She was a member of Glasgow United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Craig A. (Masel) Brown of South Charleston; grandchildren, Maleai Sayre and Daniel Toney; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Brown of Marmet; nephew Shannon (Marnie) Sizemore of Missouri; niece Kim Sizemore (Dave) Yeager; four special caregivers, Sandy Stone Pritchard, Donna Jones, Labenna Eskew and Shila Pettry, and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be Noon, October 17th at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort Street, Cedar Grove, WV 25039 with Pastor John Massey officiating. Entombment will follow service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hubbard Hospice 1606 Kan. Blvd. Charleston, WV 25387
Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove is serving the Brown family.
