Barbara Kelly Obituary


BARBARA ANN KELLY, 82, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2025, at her residence after a long illness.
She was born in Charleston on January 26, 1943, a daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Hudson Kessinger. Barbara was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Myers.
Barbara was a Unit Secretary at Fresenius Medical Care with over 25 years of service. She was a member of Chesapeake Freewill Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, the Rev. Daniel Kelly; daughters, Jennifer McClanahan (Roy) of Putnam County and Amy Height (Mark) of Charleston; grandchildren, John Sneed (Tara) of Charleston, Brandon McClanahan of Winfield, Alexxia Snyder (Cody) of St. Albans, Corey McClanahan of Huntington and Tyler Fuller (Shaina) of Charleston; and great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Emmalee, Elijah, Addy and Weston.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. The burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Family and friends will gather for the visitation Monday, September 15, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
