Billy McGhee Obituary

Billy Joe McGhee, Billy Joe McGhee of Hurricane, WV passed away on October 9, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Helen McGhee; and brother, Michael L McGhee.

Billy proudly served his country with the United States Air Force and worked with International Union of Elevator Constructors.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McGhee; children: Wendi O'Dell (Craig), Billy J. McGhee (Jodie) and Michael David McGhee (Lisa); sisters: Barbara Templeton and Sharon Thomas; sister in-law, Kathy McGhee; seven grandchildren: Chase, Ally, Corbin, Ben, Madison, Mason and Hayden; eight great grandchildren: Uriah, Laine, Maura, Avery, Cam, Mack, Judd and Saylor.

He had a wonderful life and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior 20 years ago! He is with our Savior Now. He will be so missed!!
