BRYCE ALLEN TATE, 15, of Cross Lanes, WV, departed this earthly life suddenly on November 6th, 2025, to be welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born on April 2, 2010, Bryce was the cherished son of Amanda and Adam Tate. Bryce was an extraordinary young man whose light touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. As an amazing son and devoted friend, he embodied respect, intelligence, and a boundless sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Bryce had a profound gift for inspiring those around him to strive for self-improvement and to lean on their faith in God, often sharing words of encouragement that reflected his own deep spiritual conviction.
A passionate athlete, Bryce found joy playing basketball on the court or in the driveway with friends, if he wasn't playing basketball you might have found him playing video games with friends and enjoying laughs. He was also dedicated time to lifting weights, pushing himself to new heights both physically and mentally.
Above all, Bryce treasured moments spent with his loved ones family and friends alike creating memories filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. Bryce leaves behind a legacy of kindness, motivation, and unshakeable faith that will continue to inspire his family, friends, and community.
He is survived by his parents, Amanda and Adam Tate, along with his loving paternal grandfather Jonathan Tate, maternal grandfather and grandmother Gary Allen, and Tammy Samples, Aunt Alyssa Allen, and Uncle Jonathan Tate, and other loving family members.
Bryce was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Sheryl Tate.
Though his time with us was far too short, Bryce's spirit will live on eternally in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Bryce, until we meet again in the presence of our Savior.
Celebration of Bryce's life will be Noon Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Twin City Bible Church with Pastor Richard Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home.
