Cecil W. Hanna Jr.

CECIL W. HANNA, JR., 78, of Red House, went home to his Heavenly Father on October 29, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Janet Beckner Hanna, who will love, mourn, and miss him for the rest of her days. Cecil is also survived by his two daughters, Sherry Hanna and Lisa Miller; and five grandchildren, Tabby, Luke, Ethan, Dylan, and Evelyn.
Cecil worked in maintenance for over 23 years as an electrician with Putnam County Schools. He was a man of deep faith who loved God, his family, and his many friends. He enjoyed woodworking, singing at church, and playing the piano, guitar, and banjo all by ear. Cecil also loved fishing, hunting, and serving as a deacon at Riverside Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil W. Hanna and Clara Kinder Hanna, and his brother, Edward L. Hanna. Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Pastor Michael Hanna, and sister, Marlene Hanna Harris.
Cecil loved his country and proudly served as a Marine in Khe Sanh during the Vietnam War.
There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Cecil will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him.
