Claude Childers Obituary
CLAUDE EDDIE CHILDERS, 72, of St. Albans, WV, passed away October 13, 2025 at home.
He was born August 17, 1953 in Charleston, WV to the late Claude and Barbara Childers. Also, preceding him in death are many beloved pets.
Eddie was a Cabinet specialist. He also served in the Marines.
Surviving is his wife of 50 years Carolyn Childers of St. Albans; children, Stephanie Angel Young (Jeff) of St. Albans, Stacie Amanda Johnson (Brian) of Moseley VA; sisters, Mary Fields (Bob) of St. Albans, Debra Bess (Tim) of St. Albans; grandchildren, Parker Reid Young, Cody Rylan Johnson, Keegan Matthew Johnson and Juliana Kate Johnson; and many other extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home with brother-in-law, Tim Bess officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Teays Valley.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
