Danny Queen Obituary

DANNY C. QUEEN, of Gauley Bridge, WV died peacefully on September 17, 2024, at his home following a prolonged medical condition at the age of 69. He was born on June, 19, 1955.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife Joan Adkins Queen and Mother Carolyn Sue Nichols Queen.
Danny is survived by his father, Harold C. Queen of Charlton Heights, brothers Terry (Ann) Queen of Gauley Bridge and Tracy (Barva) Queen of Charlton Heights. Sister, Stacey (Randall) Jeffries of Charlton Heights. Nephews, Gage and Christopher. Nieces, Crystal, Jerrey Anne and Tara. Live in friend Nicole Bowen.
Danny attended Gauley Bridge High School and graduated in 1973. He played basketball for four years at Gauley Bridge High School and helped his team (The Travelers) go to the State Finals in Morgantown, WV, in 1972. Danny was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, hunting and trout fishing.
A Memorial service honoring Danny will be held at Boomer Baptist Church in Boomer, WV, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Strickland officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.
