Frank Webb

FRANK WEBB passed away on August 17, 2025 in Charleston, WV following a brief illness.
Frank retired from State Farm Insurance after 37 years of service in the Kanawha Valley. He volunteered for a variety of youth related organizations including Mountaineer Little League and a variety of school groups.
Bowling was a lifelong passion for Frank. He met his future wife at the lanes and maintained a high average throughout his adult years. Two days after his 65th birthday, he achieved the sport's pinnacle a perfect 300 game. He bowled in leagues well into his 80s and also competed in the state and national Senior Olympics.
Frank grew up in Kanawha City where he played baseball for Charleston High School, the Charleston Reds and then when he entered college.
He graduated from Morris Harvey College and served in the US Navy in Panama and Newfoundland during the Korean Conflict.
He was born the youngest child of Arthur Webb and Nona Keffer Webb on March 8, 1934 in Charleston, WV.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Beane Webb and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by one son, Frank Webb, Jr. and wife, Christine of Cumming, GA; two daughters, Kelly Young and husband, Kerry of Garner, NC and Amy Beaver and husband, David of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Alexis Webb, Andrea Webb McQuaig (Samuel), Jillian and Gwendolyn Beaver and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at The Arthur B. Hodges Center at Edgewood Summit. Frank's love for family, community, and a sharp sense of humor will be remembered always. He will be deeply missed by his family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2025 at Bollinger Funeral Home with Pastor Jesse Waggoner officiating. Frank will be laid to rest privately in Graceland Memorial Park following the service.
Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
