Hilda Westfall Obituary


HILDA MAE WESTFALL, 92, of Elkview, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a prolonged illness.
She loved and was loved by her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Hilda went to work for the FBI out of high school and worked into her 70s as a bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and six siblings, husband William (Bill), and son Richard.
She is survived by daughters Laura Ann Melton (Timothy), Lea Jane Melton (Gregory), and son Randall Lee Westfall, eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Means officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview.
In place of flowers, donations may be sent to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association at (304) 342-1576.

Arrangements are in the care of Hafer Funeral Home, 50 North Pinch Road, Elkview.
