Jodi Anne Dillon Holston

JODI ANNE DILLON HOLSTON danced into this world on June 7, 1962, and - true to form - spent her life marching to the beat of her own drum. She married the love of her life, Lowell "Bo" Holston, on February 16, 1980, and together they raised two boys, Andrew and Dustin. Later, she discovered her favorite role yet: grandmother to Aiden, who could do no wrong in her eyes.
Jodi was equal parts free spirit and fierce protector. She loved traveling, the beach, hiking, dancing, and her family (though depending on the day, not necessarily in that order). She was a flower child at heart always ready for an adventure, unafraid of bare feet, and firmly convinced that tie-dye was a neutral color.
She poured her energy into volunteering for sports teams, bands, Boy Scouts, and schools. At Anne Bailey Elementary, where she worked as a teacher's aide, she had a way of making every child feel valued and special.
Jodi's life was full of love, laughter, and selflessness always putting her family first. She taught her boys how to be kind, her grandson how to be spoiled, and her friends how to live life without taking it too seriously.
She leaves behind her devoted husband Bo, her sons Andrew and Dustin, her grandson Aiden, and a lifetime of stories that will be told with both tears and laughter.
In honor of Jodi's adventurous and hippie soul, the family encourages everyone to take a spontaneous trip, dance barefoot, and wear more tie-dye.
A Funeral service will be at 11 a.m, Monday, August 18, 2025, at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Pastor David Keeney officiating.
