Joshua Sizemore Obituary
Josh was born to Glen and Mitzi C. Sizemore on October 19, 1985 in Charleston, WV.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Paul E. Moore and maternal grandmother: Peggy Pettry; and several Brothers and Sisters from 101st Airborne Division.
Josh was a 2003 Graduate of Hurricane High School, Graduate of Marshall University and proudly served his country in the US ARMY, where he ultimately earned a Combat Purple Heart. His love of motorcycles led him to work at Moto Boutique Motorcycles in Columbus, OH and ride with Ohio Rocket Riders, as well as loving to watch and attend football games while using his Cincinnati Bengals season pass tickets.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his sister: Angela Sizemore and his niece: Adalynn Sizemore both of St. Albans, WV; special aunt: Peggy Watson of Cannelton, WV; paternal grandmother: Dorma Moore of Lizmores, WV; and maternal grandfather: Bobby Pettry of Powellton, WV.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Monday November 13, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, WV.
Military honors will be provided at 7:00pm by US ARMY, American Legion Post #73 and VFW Post #6418 both of St. Albans, WV.

Mitzi, I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to you, Glen and Angela. Josh was one of our son Steven's very first best friends when we moved to WV and we will always have a special place in our hearts for him and your family, and all of our wonderful times together. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God be with you.
