Joyce Ankeney Obituary


JOYCE ANKENEY, 80 from Saint Albans, WV; born on April 3, 1944 and passed in the care of hospice on September 13, 2024.
She is survived by her children James Ankeney and Linda Ankeney, her grandchildren Zachary Markham, Abigail Ankeney and Pheobie Ankeney.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arvin Pete King and Ollie Rena Jividen King.
Joyce was a high school graduate of Dunbar High School and a receptionist for many years in Dr. Henry Bailey's Chiropractic office.
Joyce's life revolved in her faith of God. She was a proud preachers daughter, and a powerful witness to friends and strangers alike.
Her hobbies included reading suspenseful fiction crime stories, solving assorted puzzles and taking time to dedicate herself to the word of the Bible.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
