Kendra Jean Eggleton

KENDRA JEAN EGGLETON, 84, of Crawford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, under the compassionate care of Crestview Manor Healthcare Center.
Kendra was born in Conneaut, OH, on October 19, 1940, a daughter of the late Kenneth Walter Prescott and Jean Estelle Murray Prescott Wruble. In addition to her parents, Kendra was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Fisher; one son-in-law, Michael Herbinko; and one brother, Albert Prescott.
On April 8, 1961, Kendra married the love of her life, Owen "Buddy" Clifton Eggleton. Their union, spanning over 64 years, was one marked by love, understanding, and mutual respect.
Forever cherishing Kendra's methodical and feisty spirit is her husband, Buddy Eggleton of Crawford; two children: Karen Herbinko of Ireland, and Mark Eggleton and wife, Anne, of Midlothian, VA; two grandchildren: Lauren and Logan Eggleton; one great-grandson, Brayden Pritchard-Fisher; three siblings: Kathleen Hunt of Conneaut, OH, Jeanne Prescott of Indian Rock Beach, FL, Michael Prescott of Ashtabula, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Kendra graduated from Conneaut High School in 1958 and furthered her education at Erie Business School. Kendra worked tirelessly as the Residence Manager of Terrace Park East Apartments and Parkside Place Condominiums in Charleston. She managed her home with great efficiency and raised her children with a level of pride and love that was palpable. Her hobbies included gardening, crafting, and decorating her home, always demonstrating the keen eye of a perfectionist. Kendra was a vital part of the Lewis County Senior Center, where she spent her retirement years actively involved in. Her strong spirit and her commitment to family and community will be deeply missed.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025. Funeral Services will begin at 6 p.m. in the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Following services, Kendra's request for Cremation will be honored at Pat Boyle Funeral Home's On-Site Crematory.
